The Saudi Arabia leadership’s vision for KFSHRC is bold and ambitious, building on the Hospital’s ability to revolutionize healthcare delivery to meet the needs of our patients. KFSHRC started its transformation journey in late 2016, and since then experienced the dynamic and challenging process first-hand; from onboarding the whole organization to crafting a transformation plan, endeavoring to meet expectations while simultaneously maintaining operations business-as-usual.
The transformation program is designed to help the organization transition into a nonprofit independent foundation, enabling KFSHRC to have the autonomy and flexibility to develop existing services and resources, and explore new opportunities. The program will change working practices across the Hospital, spanning across research, academia, information technology, finance, and human resources. Transforming KFSHRC will unlock its potential to deliver more to our patients, citizens, and to healthcare locally and globally.

Activation of the KFSHRC Corporate Transformation Office centralizes transformational activities and efforts, ensuring coordination among both internal and external stakeholders and monitoring of projects
Council of Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA) plays key role in determining KFSHRC’s transformation direction, especially during the early stages of conceptualization
Alignment with HRH the Crown Prince and the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) ensures that KFSHRC is on the proper path to realizing the Kingdom’s aspiration of elevating the provision of healthcare, not only to its people, but also to the global society
Royal decree issuance marks KFSHRC’s transformation into an independent nonprofit foundation, the commencement of an even greater evolution towards new levels of excellence
